WIHN is a nonprofit organization. We survive solely on the support and
donations of the community. Donations are received in two forms: in-kind
and financial. Usually we receive in-kind donations to supply the Day
Center and individual family needs. These donations sometimes come in
the form of book bags with school supplies for the children, infant care
supplies, and even automobiles. In-kind donations are essential to the
services that we provide to the families. When families are enrolled
into the program, they are given towels, basic bathroom necessities,
cleaning supplies, and other items. See the Wish List.
WIHN must have financial donations to
survive. These are sometimes given in memory or in honor of a family
member, or for a specific cause (e.g. Day Center maintenance). Monetary
donations are critical for basic day-to-day operations. Gifts of stock
